Lucius has been named President of Institutional Services at Argent, a division that includes services for governmental and charitable entities. Formerly the manager of Argent Trust’s Governmental and Philanthropic Services, he brings over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry to his current role, overseeing all aspects of service delivery for Argent’s institutional clients.
Lucius provides tailored financial solutions to public entities, nonprofit organizations, and businesses, with expertise in financial management, corporate trust, philanthropic governance, mineral management, and retirement plans. He is also a Registered Municipal Advisor with Argent Advisors, Inc., offering guidance on municipal debt offerings.
Prior to joining Argent, Lucius worked as Assistant Controller with Staton Wholesale and Accounting Analyst with RepublicBank, Texas. Lucius has been working with Argent and its predecessors since 1990.
In his spare time, Lucius stays active in the community by serving local advisory boards such as the Health Hut (a mobile clinic providing free healthcare), the Boys and Girls Club of North Louisiana, and leading a small group of young marrieds at The Bridge Community Church. Lucius has also been appointed to the Industrial Development Board of Lincoln Parish by the Lincoln Parish Police Jury.
