Michael Lanese joined the company as Senior Portfolio Manager. He will be based in Argent’s Dallas office and will be responsible for managing personal and institutional portfolios.
Lanese joins Argent from Fluent Financial, where he served as portfolio manager. In that role, Lanese handled developing and managing the firm’s portfolios and risk management processes. He also focused on strategizing client portfolios to help increase returns while simultaneously reducing overall financial risk.
Lanese received his Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Texas Christian University (TCU) and his MBA from Southern Methodist University (SMU). In addition, he holds the Series 7 (securities representative), 63 (state law license), 24 (principal) and 57 (securities trader) licenses with Private Client Services (PCS).
Lanese is a member of the Dallas Sommelier Society, has passed the WSET III certification and is a Level II sommelier through the International Masters Guild of Sommeliers. He also previously served as head coach of the TCU men’s lacrosse team and as a lacrosse coach within the Highland Park School System. He is the former president of the Southwest Lacrosse Association.
Lesli and Mike were married in 2016 and have lived in the East Dallas neighborhood of Lakewood with their daughter Katie and son Joe since 1999.
