Jason Rangel has transitioned into the role of AML/CFT Officer at Argent Trust Company, continuing a career that began with the organization in May 2023. Previously serving as a Middle Office Administrator, he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to collaboration and integrity. A team-first professional, Jason believes that effective compliance programs thrive on shared accountability and cross-functional support.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Texas at Austin in 2019 and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2022. In his new role, he looks forward to leading efforts that strengthen the organization’s AML/CFT programs while fostering a culture grounded in trust and risk awareness.

Outside of work, Jason is a college football fanatic and can often be found cheering on the Texas Longhorns at Darrell K. Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium (DKR) on fall Saturdays. He also enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and values maintaining a healthy balance between his professional and personal life.
