J.D., University of Miami School of Law
B.A. (Communication Studies), Texas State University

Argent Trust Company announced today that Lindsay B. Eder has joined the firm as Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer in the Austin office.

Eder will serve Argent’s clients by providing fiduciary guidance and leadership in trust administration, risk governance, and strategic decision-making. She will oversee fiduciary risk consultations, discretionary decision-making processes, and governance initiatives supporting high-net-worth trust and estate relationships.

Before joining Argent, Eder earned more than 15 years of fiduciary experience through a variety of roles at Comerica Bank (successor to Fifth Third Bank) and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.  Most recently, she served as both a Fiduciary Strategy and Fiduciary Guidance Manager at Comerica, where she led two teams of fiduciary professionals overseeing governance, new business decisioning, and strategic planning. She previously served as a Business Risk & Control Officer and Senior Trust Advisor, acting as the primary business risk advisor for personal trust administration and providing consultative guidance on complex trust and estate matters involving governing documents, state law, and fiduciary discretion. Earlier in her career at Wells Fargo, Eder played an integral part in developing and leading a comprehensive 9-month training program that prepared 26 newly staffed offshore team members to accurately complete administrative reviews for designated account types.  She subsequently managed the day-to-day operations of the offshore administrative review program.

Eder earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Texas State University. She also holds her Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) certification. Eder also holds memberships in The Florida Bar, the Estate Planning Council of Central Texas and the Junior League of Austin.

Originally from East Texas, Lindsay moved to the Austin area 25 years ago, where she has remained ever since, apart from a six-year stint in Miami.  She loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys traveling, college football, reading, and exploring Austin’s vibrant music scene.
