Dan Bryan, CFP®

Dan Bryan serves as Market President of Argent’s Atlanta office, where he leads the market’s strategic growth, fosters client relationships, and supports the continued success of the firm’s wealth management and trust services. Since joining Argent, he has also served as Director of Trust Services, overseeing the administration of complex, multigenerational trusts and advising clients on estate planning strategies, including wealth preservation, retirement planning, tax-efficient wealth transfer, and preparing future generations for responsible stewardship. In his current role, Bryan continues to provide trusted guidance to clients while leading the Atlanta team and advancing Argent’s market presence.

With more than 35 years of financial services experience—primarily in trust and wealth management—Bryan has held leadership and client advisory roles in bank wealth management divisions and family office service models. He believes that exceptional client service and lasting relationships are the foundation of success. He is committed to building high-performing teams that deliver thoughtful advice, personalized solutions, and advocacy that always puts clients’ best interests first.

Bryan joined Argent Financial Group after a distinguished career at Regions Bank, where he served as Fiduciary Business Leader and Senior Vice President in its Private Wealth Management division. Prior to that, he spent 17 years at SunTrust Bank, serving as Fiduciary Executive and Senior Vice President, as well as Fiduciary Services Manager and Senior Vice President.

Bryan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, cum laude, from Georgia Southern University. He is a graduate of the Southern Trust School and holds the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation.

An active member of the professional community, Bryan previously served on the board of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and is a member of the DeKalb Estate Planning Council. He is also a past director and board member of the Southern Trust School.

Dan and his wife, Laney, have four children—one son and three daughters. Outside of work, they enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, playing golf, and listening to music. They also stay busy caring for their two golden retrievers. Whenever he has the opportunity, Dan enjoys fishing in scenic destinations.
