Richard Crowder is a Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor in our Mississippi market. His responsibilities primarily focus on new business development, trust administration, as well as overseeing investments and providing comprehensive financial advisory services.
With 40 years of extensive investment management and trust administration experience, Crowder joined the company after a distinguished career at Regions Bank in their trust and wealth management group, where he served as Senior Vice President, Senior Trust Advisor and Area Business Manager.
Crowder is a graduate of Mississippi State University, where he was inducted into the prestigious MSU Hall of Fame. He served as Student Association Senator and was President of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Building on his undergraduate success, he pursued advanced education at the Southern Trust School (STS) at Birmingham Southern College and the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University, where he was an honors graduate. His dedication to professional growth is underscored by his achievement of the first Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation in the state of Mississippi.
Richard’s dedication to community service and leadership is evident in his diverse roles and responsibilities. He was a longtime leader with the Boy Scouts of America and serves as a Deacon at Broadmoor Baptist Church. Despite his busy schedule, he finds his greatest joy in his family. He and his wife, Holly, have been happily married for 36 years and are proud parents to two sons and a daughter.
