John joined Argent Financial Group in 2015 and is responsible for overseeing the investment management teams for both Heritage Trust Company and Argent Trust Company. He also provides oversight for four SEC-registered investment advisors: Highland Capital, Orleans Capital, Argent Advisors, and Argent Wealth.

With more than 25 years of experience in trust and investment services, John has served as Chief Investment Officer of Argent Financial Group and as a director, investment committee member, and Chief Investment Officer for Heritage Trust Company, an Argent Financial Group affiliate based in Oklahoma City, OK. Prior to his time at Heritage, he held various roles at Dell Computer Corporation and Dell Financial Services.

John holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Vanderbilt University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
