Vicki Heroy

SHREVEPORT, Louisiana, June 12, 2019 – Argent Trust Company announced today that Vicki Heroy has joined the company as vice president and trust officer in the Shreveport office. She will report to Louisiana market president Gary Moore and will be responsible for managing family and institutional relationships.

Heroy joins Argent from Prosperity Bank in Austin, where she served as a senior vice president and trust officer since 2014. At Prosperity, she was responsible for managing a portfolio of trust, agency and retirement accounts, in addition to guiding the strategic direction of the central Texas market. Before that, Heroy served as vice president and trust officer in the Oklahoma City market, where she grew her experience in fiduciary account management, with a focus in personal trust and wealth management.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Vicki to our growing team in Shreveport,” Moore said. “Vicki brings over 15 years of banking, trust and wealth management knowledge, in addition to proven leadership and business development success. We look forward to the positive impact she will bring to the clients we have the honor to serve.”

Heroy received her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2005 and graduated magna cum laude from Mid-America Christian University with an MBA in 2014. She also earned her Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from Cannon Financial Institute.

“Argent’s reputation, its depth of resources and the amazing talent across its footprint was what originally sparked my interest in joining the team and moving back to Louisiana,” said Heroy. “I look forward to using my experience in banking, trust and wealth management to further the reach of Argent’s fiduciary services.”

A native of West Monroe, Louisiana, Heroy has spent most of her career in Austin and Oklahoma City, where she served in various capacities with numerous nonprofit organizations, including as a board member of the Lake Travis High School Cavalette Drill Team, a Lake Travis Schools mentor and tutor and a member of the Estate Planning Council of Central Texas.
