Argent Trust Announces New President, Directors and Birmingham Office

Ken AldermanBirmingham, Alabama, August 23, 2016 – Kyle McDonald, Chairman of Argent Trust Company, announced today approval to open a Birmingham, Alabama office, the naming of Ken Alderman as President and the election of Alderman and Lisa Narrell- Mead to its Board of Directors.

Alderman, CPA® and CFA® brings almost 40 years of experience in management, investments, trust administration, accounting, financial planning, and wealth management to Argent Trust. As President, Alderman will create additional synergies and efficiencies for all seven of Argent Trust’s locations and implement other growth strategies. In addition, he will lead the Birmingham office in its client service efforts.

Before joining Argent Alderman was an Executive Vice President of Regions Wealth Management and most recently was the owner of Fiduciary Wealth Consulting in Birmingham. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA ®) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®). He is also a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School and received the Trust Career Award from the Alabama Bankers Association. He holds a master of business administration from Florida State University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Auburn University.

Lisa Narrell-Mead, Principal of Workplace Advisors, LLC and Taylor Mead, LLC, has a distinguished and experienced background in corporate management and private law practice. She has served as Executive Vice President for Cadence Bank and Regions Bank. Before her career in banking, she was in private law practice in Alabama, Louisiana, and Tennessee. Narrell-Mead received her bachelor of science in political science from Birmingham-Southern College and her juris doctorate from Emory University School of Law.
