Argent Hires Additional Portfolio manager

 

NASHVILLE, TENNESSE (March 16, 2015) – Argent Financial Group and its subsidiary Argent Trust Company are pleased to announce the addition of Shannon Harrington, CFA as Vice President and Portfolio Manager.

 

In his new role, Shannon will actively manage personal, charitable, and institutional assets for trust and investment accounts.Harrington has over 15 years of experience offering investment management solutions to clients in Nashville. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of California in Santa Barbara and a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Harrington is reuniting with a seasoned team of fiduciary services professionals at Argent Trust. He joins his former manager Howard Safer, CEO of Argent Trust Company. Safer has over 40 years experience in fiduciary services with a special emphasis on high net worth families. Harrington started his career at Bradford Trust where Safer served as President and followed him to Regions Morgan Keegan after Bradford was sold.

 

Harrington will also be rejoining Frank Hosse, Chief Investment Officer of Argent Trust and Mindy Hirt, Wealth Advisor at Argent Trust.  Hosse and Hirt will provide services and support to Harrington and his clients.  This team has been recognized as one of Worth magazine’s “Best Financial Advisors”, inducted into Research Magazine’s Advisor Hall of Fame and named one of the Top Five National “Most Innovative Investment Professionals” by Ticker magazine.
