Matthew Kimbrough serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager in our Shreveport location. Matthew manages fixed income portfolios for clients across the southeastern United States, with primary focus areas including investment-grade corporate credit, tax-free municipal bonds, and government agencies.

Prior to rejoining Argent in early 2022 as a Portfolio Manager, Matthew served as Head of Research at Savvy Investor, a leading platform for the distribution of thought leadership to the institutional investment community. He previously worked with Argent as a Portfolio Manager from 2012 to 2016 before relocating to the U.K. Matthew began his career with J.P. Morgan in foreign exchange and global securities operations.

Matthew holds an MBA from HEC Paris and a B.A. from Washington and Lee University, where he double majored in Mathematics and Philosophy. He lives in Shreveport, Louisiana, and enjoys playing golf, duck hunting, and other outdoor activities. Matthew serves on the board of directors of his local Elks Lodge and holds the Certified Treasury Professional designation.
