Catherine McCulley Promoted to Vice President and Trust Officer for Argent Trust in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Dec. 19, 2019 – Argent Trust Company announced today the promotion of Catherine McCulley from assistant trust administrator to vice president and trust officer in the firm’s Memphis office.

A certified trust and financial advisor (CTFA), McCulley joined Argent Trust Company in 2015. As vice president and trust officer, she will take a larger client advisory role and drive business development efforts. Prior to joining Argent, she worked for three years as a private wealth management relationship associate for Regions Bank, and five years as financial services representative for SunTrust Bank.

“Katie has been with us for four years now and she has continued to impress clients with her thoughtful, fiduciary investment guidance,” said David Franks, market president for Argent Trust in Memphis. “We are lucky to have her on our team and are looking forward to seeing her grow even more in her new position.”

McCulley received her bachelors in business administration with a focus in finance from the University of Memphis. She also recently received passed her CTFA exam from the Cannon Trust School. The three-part course certifies that professionals are qualified in the technical competencies and skills required to perform complex trust administration responsibilities.

A native of the Memphis area, McCulley lives in Lakeland and has two daughters with her husband, Chris, who owns McCulley Roofing & Renovations, LLC. They are both active in the Lakeland community, supporting the local school system through charitable efforts and volunteering through Vitalant (formerly known as LifeBlood).

Argent Trust in Memphis shares offices with parent company Argent Financial Group affiliate Highland Capital, which handles the firm’s investment transactions. At the location for 10 years, 20 employees work together to provide comprehensive wealth management services.
