Fort Worth, Texas, March 19, 2018 – Argent Trust Company has opened an office in Fort Worth and former Frost Bank executive vice president Sue Turnage has joined the company to lead the new operation.

Turnage brings to Argent Trust nearly 35 years of experience leading complex investment, trust, estate, and retirement services administration teams in the financial services industry. As Tarrant County market president, she will manage Argent’s operations in Fort Worth and surrounding communities.

“As a long-time Tarrant County resident, I am thrilled to lead Argent’s new venture in my own backyard. I knew retirement wasn’t an option when Kyle explained how Argent shares my vision of treating employees and clients like family,” said Turnage. “Creating a special customer experience has always been my passion. Argent’s focus on clients’ needs allows me greater flexibility than ever before to create customized wealth solutions for the North Texas community. Because Argent values service as much as I do, I am both honored and prepared to serve as the Tarrant County market president.”

“Sue’s expertise in wealth management and business development, using her creativity and flexibility to build a multi-billion-dollar management group from the ground up, has more than qualified her to lead Argent’s Fort Worth location,” said Kyle McDonald, chairman of Argent Trust Company and CEO of Argent Financial Group. “Her accolades, including her 2004 Tarrant County Banker of the Year award, prove her professional capabilities. But much more than that, she knows how to build a team of talented and credentialed people who share Argent’s business philosophy and community commitment. Sue’s ability to put clients’ needs first proves that she is a perfect fit.”

Before joining Argent, Turnage was executive vice president and regional manager for Frost Wealth Advisors/Frost Bank, Tarrant County and North Texas. An active member of the community for many years, Sue has been a board member for the Amon Carter Museum Advisory Council, YWCA, Tarrant Area Food Bank, Kids Who Care and other organizations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Texas.

The newly opened Fort Worth office joins the list of Argent’s rapidly growing presence in Texas – with new offices set to open in Austin and Dallas, as well as established locations in Beaumont, Corpus Christi and San Antonio.
