Argent Mineral Management, a subsidiary of Argent Financial Group, announced Blake Butler has joined the company as mineral manager.
As mineral manager, Butler will focus on mineral wealth, contract negotiation, oil and gas accounting and asset evaluation. Butler will report directly to David Luke, Argent Mineral Management president.
“Blake has impressive experience and will be a valuable member of our Argent Mineral Management (AMM) team,” said Luke. “We are very confident in Blake’s knowledge of the oil and gas business and mineral ownership, and he is a great fit within our AMM team.”
Butler brings over 11 years of experience to the Argent team. Most recently, Butler served as petroleum landman for Twin Creek Resources, LLC. In this role, he researched property owners and mineral owners for oil and gas producers, prepared research reports and communicated directly with clients on project needs.
“I am excited to join the Argent team and take on this new role,” said Butler. “I look forward to serving our clients as mineral manager and will work to uphold Argent’s promise to provide outstanding wealth management services for a wide variety of client needs.”
Butler is a graduate of Anderson University with a Bachelor of Arts in communications.
