
Russell Allsup
Argent Financial Group announced today that Russell Allsup has joined its Shreveport Argent Trust office as Louisiana vice president. Allsup will report to Louisiana Market President Gary Moore and will work with Argent Financial Group Executive Vice President Dut LeBlanc in Argent Family Wealth Services, a specialized focus of Argent Trust serving the unique needs of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.

His outstanding previous work in Louisiana is highly respected, and our clients will benefit from his ability to provide individualized, fiduciary advice to best meet their wealth management needs.”
Before joining Argent, Allsup was with KPMG for 12 years, serving most recently as managing director of corporate tax services. His previous positions with KPMG also included senior manager and manager of corporate tax services. Allsup was responsible for, among other duties, providing income tax planning and financial reporting services to publicly traded clients, closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals in various industries.

Allsup earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Southern Methodist University and his master’s of accountancy from Louisiana Tech University. He became a licensed CPA in 2011. In addition, he is chair of the Diaconate of Heritage Baptist Church in Shreveport and treasurer of the NORWELA Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
