Argent Financial Group announced today that Jyotsaana Parajuli has been promoted to Argent’s controller. Parajuli, who previously served as assistant controller, will continue to report to Daniel Taylor, Argent’s chief accounting officer.
In her new position, Parajuli will oversee various areas of daily accounting operations. Her duties also include the administration of corporate budgets and forecasts as well as tax planning for Argent Financial Group and all subsidiaries.
“Since joining our team, Jyotsaana has demonstrated professionalism and commitment to Argent, which has not gone unnoticed,” said Taylor. “Jyotsaana is a tremendous asset to Argent and we’re excited to welcome her into this role and see her growth within our organization.”

A certified public accountant, Parajuli earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and a master’s degree with concentration in accounting from Louisiana Tech University.
In her free time, she enjoys contributing to the community by volunteering at various United Way events around Northeast Louisiana.
