Six honorees selected in first annual recognition program
Argent Trust Company, a subsidiary of Argent Financial Group, is pleased to recognize businesswomen in several markets as part of the firm’s American Business Women’s Day celebrations.
More than 40 years ago, President Ronald Reagan recognized American Business Women’s Day as a day set aside to honor and reflect upon the contributions and accomplishments of the millions of women in the workforce and the millions of women business owners in the United States. Observed annually on September 22nd, it is a day to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking, and national recognition.
Jodi Penn Rives, focus leader for Argent’s Women | Wealth | Wellness said, “It is such a privilege for Argent to recognize business women of outstanding leadership who have positively impacted their community and supported others in their career growth. These honorees are considered role models, mentors, leaders and have been catalyst for philanthropic efforts in their communities.”
