William joined Argent Trust as Senior Vice President & Director of Trust Services at our Atlanta location. He brings over 48 years of experience in the wealth management field as a senior leader. His solid background in trust operations, wealth management, asset allocation and technology gives him the expertise to assemble a plan that fits clients’ special needs. He combines his unique blend of business savvy and financial acumen to take clients’ existing assets and put them to work, helping them to leave a lasting legacy.

He has built and managed trust departments and trust companies in Monroe, Louisiana; Birmingham, Alabama; and Atlanta, Georgia. He previously served as the leader of Ameris Bank Trust, where he offered a high level of personal service as well as meeting clients’ needs.

Keith holds a B.S. in Accounting from Northeast Louisiana University; he is also a Certified Public Accountant. He is a Vietnam Veteran and a former 1st. Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.

William and his wife Karen have two children and three grandchildren.
