Since joining Argent in 2013 Sterling has served as a Property Administrator and Mineral Manager; helping clients manage their mineral assets, creating opportunities to generate wealth and maximize value. His services include negotiating the leasing, acquisition and divestiture of mineral rights, determining ownership of surface and minerals through the research of public and private records, reviewing the status of title, negotiating right-of-way, and surface land management.
Sterling is a Certified Mineral Manager through the National Association of Royalty Owners (NARO) and a Registered Professional Landman under the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL). Additionally, Sterling serves on the national board of the NARO Foundation; an organization dedicated to educating land owners about their mineral ownership.
Sterling is an active member of First Baptist Church of Ruston where he is a deacon. He and his wife also enjoy spending time outdoors with their three children.
