As Director of Marketing, Sarah works closely with Argent’s leadership and entity management to oversee the development and implementation of marketing and branding strategies, including sales support, internal and external communications and employee engagement.
Prior to joining Argent in 2013, Sarah co-owned Emogen Marketing Group, an ADDY award-winning marketing agency in Ruston, Louisiana. She holds an MBA from the University of Louisiana at Monroe—where she was named Outstanding MBA Graduate of 2007—and a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Louisiana Tech University. In 2020, Sarah earned the dual certification of Professional Certified Marketer (PCM®) – Digital Marketing Pro from the American Marketing Association and Digital Marketing Institute.
Sarah is active in the Ruston, LA community, serving with United Way’s annual Dollars & Sense Reality Fair and as a certified Facilitator with Faith & Finances in partnership with Zion Traveler Community Development Corporation. She serves Louisiana Tech University as a member of the College of Business Marketing Advisory Board, is an advisory board member with RETREET, a neighborhood-focused environmental disaster relief program of Keep America Beautiful, and has served on Ruston’s Planning and Zoning Commission since 2016.
In 2017, Sarah was recognized as a Northeast Louisiana Top 20 Under 40 Young Professional and in 2021 was named the Ruston-Lincoln Young Business Person of the Year. She and her husband, Brian, and their three children are active members of Trinity United Methodist Church, where Sarah assists with the 6th grade Confirmation Class and also serves as Endowment Committee Chair.
Sarah’s most treasured possession is her Concept 2 indoor rowing erg, which bears the name Lurlene.
