Reid M. Harrell

Reid joined Argent Trust and its predecessor firms in 2005. In 2020, he was named Chief Executive Officer of Argent Trust Company (Tennessee) while continuing to serve as Market President for our San Antonio office.  In 2025 he was named President of Argent’s Wealth Management Group with responsibilities for wealth management activities in Argent Trust Tennessee and Argent Trust Oklahoma. Over the years, he has served in several leadership roles, including Regional Executive for the Texas and Louisiana markets, Chief Fiduciary Officer for Argent Trust Company, and Chair of the Trust Management Committee.

Before joining Argent, Reid was Market Executive for the wealth management division of BBVA Compass in Austin and served as Private Banking Market Executive for the State of Arizona at Bank of America. He brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services, spanning capital markets, commercial and private banking, special assets, and fiduciary services.

Reid earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tulane University and a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
