Oren serves as a fixed income portfolio manager throughout Argent Trust’s Louisiana and Oklahoma markets. Oren manages client assets through building custom fixed-income portfolios for businesses, municipalities, and universities. In addition to portfolio management, he serves on the fixed-income investment committee, designs investment strategies, and builds fixed-income models on fundamental analysis, valuation, and credit quality.

Prior to joining Argent in the spring of 2017, Oren served as the Assistant Treasurer for MidSouth Bank in Lafayette and worked in fixed-income operations for J.P. Morgan in Brooklyn, New York and Dallas, Texas.

Oren has an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a master’s in finance from Texas A&M University – Commerce. He is a CFA level III candidate.
