Lynda Lewis, CISP

Vice President, Trust Officer

Lynda joined Argent Trust in 2016 with the opening of the company’s new Birmingham location. She has over 30 years of trust and financial service experience. In her role as trust officer with Argent, she will serve high net worth families with trust administration, investment, estate, family office services and special needs trusts administration.

Prior to joining Argent, Lynda worked with First Partners Bank leading their trust department administration team and serving private wealth clients, she previously served as a Senior Trust Officer for Arlington Trust Company and Vice President & Trust Officer at Synovus Trust Company. In these roles, she worked with families to provide suggestions and techniques to take advantage of a variety of tax and estate planning techniques focusing on holistic financial services. 

Active in her industry and community, Lynda received the Trust Professional of the Year Award from the Alabama Bankers Association Trust Division in 2016.  Lynda has been a member of the Birmingham Estate Planning Council and Huntsville Estate Planning Council for over 27 years. Lynda is currently serving as Vice President of the Birmingham Estate Planning Council. She has served as President of Alabama Bankers Association Trust Division, and she has served as the Class Director and Chairman of the Board for the Southern Trust School.   Lynda obtained her CISP Designation in 2016 and is also graduate from Southern Trust School.
