Logan joined Argent in early 2015. As a Mineral Manager, Logan works with clients, managing their mineral assets to create opportunities to generate wealth and maximize value. His services include negotiating the leasing, acquisition, and divestiture of mineral rights, determining ownership of surface and minerals through the research of public and private records, reviewing the status of title, negotiating right-of-way, and surface land management.
Prior to joining Argent, he spent almost 10 years working as a Petroleum Landman and Forester based in North Louisiana. Logan has also served as the Youth Minister for Trinity United Methodist Church and a Firefighter for the Shreveport Fire Department. Logan is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University, where he received a degree in Forestry. A member of both the Ark-La-Tex Association of Professional Landmen and the American Association of Professional Landmen, Logan recently became a Certified Professional Landman, the highest designation offered in the energy management industry.
Active in his community, Logan is the Vice President of the Lincoln Parish Police Jury, a member of the Choudrant Volunteer Fire Department and serves on the board for the Health Hut (a mobile clinic providing free healthcare). Logan also served as Chaplain for the Ruston High School and Cedar Creek High School football teams and has been a Forum Speaker for the Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home. He and his wife Megan have five children and are active members of The Bridge Community Church.
