Konrad Halbert serves as Market President in our Fort Worth market. With more than 25 years of experience in trust and wealth management, he leads client service and business development efforts across the North Texas region. Konrad brings deep expertise in estate planning, fiduciary administration, and relationship management for high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions.
He takes a strategic, relationship-driven approach to wealth management, working closely with clients, attorneys, CPAs, and investment professionals to deliver tailored financial solutions. His prior experience includes overseeing business development, client retention, and operational management across 21 banks in six North Texas counties.
Before joining Argent, Konrad served as Regional President and Fort Worth Office Trust Manager for First Financial Trust & Asset Management Company, where he oversaw the East Region, including offices in Fort Worth, Houston, Beaumont, and Bryan/College Station. He previously held the roles of Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President at First Financial Trust and founded the company’s Fort Worth office in April 2005.
Konrad holds both an undergraduate degree and an M.B.A. in Finance from Texas Christian University (TCU), where he was recognized as a Graduate School of Business Scholar. He also served for over a decade as an adjunct finance professor at TCU’s M.J. Neeley School of Business.
Actively involved in both the financial industry and his local community, Konrad currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Alliance for Children and Chairman-Elect of the Texas Bankers Association Trust & Wealth Management State Advisory Council. He is also a member of the Tarrant County Probate Bar Association, Fort Worth Business and Estate Council, and the TCU Alumni Association.
