Kenny Brown Jr. serves as President of Argent Trust Oklahoma in Tulsa while maintaining his crucial role as Chief Operating Officer of Argent Trust Oklahoma. He has been with Argent Financial Group since 2013, bringing more than ten years of trust and investment management experience serving clients ranging from endowments, foundations, trusts, pensions, mutual funds, and high-net-worth individuals.
In 2017, Kenny Brown joined the former AmeriTrust, where he assumed the roles of Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Manager; in 2019, he was appointed Vice President of Business Development; in 2021, he was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to AmeriTrust, he spent four years at Heritage Trust in Oklahoma City, also part of Argent Financial Group, serving as a trust investment officer and a trust administrative officer.
Kenny began his career as a fund accounting analyst with Fidelity Investments and later transitioned to Guidestone Financial Resources in Dallas, Texas where he served as a financial analyst and then as an investment analyst.
Kenny is an active Tulsa Estate Planning Forum member and currently serves on the board. He earned both his B.B.S. and his MBA in finance from Dallas Baptist University. He is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative.
Kenny volunteers with The Coffee Bunker, an organization supporting veterans and service members transitioning back to civilian life. He also volunteers with Tulsa Classical Academy, Oklahoma’s first classical charter school. In his spare time, Kenny enjoys traveling, reading, running, giving back to the community, and spending time with his wife, an OB/GYN at OSU-Physicians, son and two daughters, and doodle, Zoey.
