Argent Financial Group is pleased to welcome Ken Griffin as Senior Vice President and Trust Officer at Argent Trust Company in Birmingham. Griffin brings more than 42 years of extensive trust and banking experience, having spent the last 37 years at Regions Financial Corp. in several key leadership roles, including Executive Vice President and Senior Trust Advisor, Area Wealth Executive, Trust Manager, and Senior Vice President and Trust Officer.
In his new role, Griffin will be based in Birmingham, responsible for Huntsville and surrounding markets. He will oversee the administration and development of trusts and estate planning strategies for both businesses and individuals.
He holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of North Alabama and a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Alabama. He is a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), a Certified Investment Management Consultant (CIMC®), and a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®). Griffin is also a graduate of Cannon Financial’s Advanced Trust Investments program at the University of Notre Dame and the National Trust School at Northwestern University.
A long-time resident of Huntsville, Griffin has been actively involved in various business and civic organizations, including the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, Alabama Society of Financial Analysts, Leadership Huntsville, Estate Planning Council, and the United Way “Red Feather” Club.
