Karen Saunders

Karen Saunders joined Argent in 2024 as Market President of San Antonio and Corpus Christi. In her role, Karen is responsible for directing and managing the South Texas team, serving high-net-worth clients with trust, investment, estate, and family office services.

Prior to joining Argent, Karen gained more than 15 years of wealth management experience at JPMorgan Private Bank and Bernstein Private Wealth Management. Karen earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from The University of Texas at Austin with a major in management. In addition, she has completed ABA Wealth and Trust School Level 1.

Karen resides in San Antonio, Texas, where she recently owned and operated a long-standing business in the community and, for an 8-year period, oversaw its charitable mission to provide support to families of preemies and medically fragile infants. Karen and her husband, Chris, have been married for 18 years and have a daughter in elementary and a daughter in high school. Karen enjoys volunteering through the National Charity League and involvement with her church, First Presbyterian Church of San Antonio.
