Jim joined Argent in 2016 and brought with him twelve years’ experience as a Trust Officer, Manager of Trust Real Estate and Trust Counsel for a bank trust department in Kansas City. Prior to attending law school his previous career was as a Social Studies and History teacher in the Kansas City, Missouri Public Schools.

He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association since 2003, and has been active in the Legal and Estate Planning Community in Kansas City as past president of the Family and the Law Section of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and a member of the Kansas City Estate Planning Council and the National Trust Real Estate Association. He has continued his professional affiliations after moving to Louisiana as a member of the Tax and Estate Planning Council of Shreveport.

Jim, his wife, Ashley, and four of their five children make their home in Shreveport where Ashley works as a critical care physician. Their eldest child attends the University of Mississippi.
