Gary joined Argent in 1998. As Market President of Louisiana for Argent Trust Company,  Gary has responsibility for management of Argent staff involved in administration, relationship development and client servicing including business line managers and regional office managers. Gary received the designation of Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1998.

Prior to his tenure with Argent Trust, Gary served as Assistant Vice President of Bank One, Louisiana (formerly Premier Bank, NA). He has more than 40 years in the trust and investment management field.

Active in his community and industry, Gary served as President of the Tax and Estate Planning Council of Shreveport and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the McDade Family Foundation. He currently serves on the Louisiana Board of Directors for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Committee of 100.

In his spare time, Gary enjoys spending time with his family and friends including most of all playing with his grandchildren. Gary also enjoys working on his land in Arkansas, known as “Turkey Ridge.”
