Creston serves as Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager for Orleans Capital Management, a subsidiary of Argent Financial Group, in our San Antonio market. He focuses on investment strategy and planning for clients, advising individuals, family offices, institutions, and nonprofit entities on investment management, trust and estate planning, and overall fiduciary goals.

A seasoned investment professional with more than 40 years of experience, he specializes in portfolio management, fixed income strategies, and cash management. His background includes government securities, municipal finance, corporate portfolios, and balanced funds, with a strong track record of managing multi-billion-dollar assets and optimizing portfolio performance. Throughout his career, he has led trading operations, supervised investment teams, and delivered disciplined investment oversight with exceptional client service.

He joins Orleans Capital after a 27-year career at Davis Selected Advisers, LP, where he co-managed the Davis Balanced Fund, oversaw government bond and money market funds, managed municipal and corporate portfolios, and handled daily cash management across 31 equity and fixed income portfolios totaling up to $3 billion. He also executed and settled trades, supervised wrap trading operations, and ensured SMA and UMA accounts were accurately aligned with equity models.

King holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Duke University, is a CFA® charterholder, and is an active member of the CFA Institute, the University of Arizona Investment Committee, and the Tucson Society of Financial Analysts.
