Christopher Taylor serves as Director of Salem Trust, a division of Argent Institutional Trust Company (AITC). In this role, he is responsible for the expansion and day-to-day management of Salem’s core services. A results-driven business leader, Christopher has a proven track record of maximizing investment value by developing and implementing strategic systems that enhance efficiency and accuracy while reducing costs and mitigating risk in investment operations. He has extensive experience managing a wide range of functions within corporate and investment banking, consistently driving measurable business success.
With over 30 years of experience in custody and securities processing, Christopher joined Salem Trust from Citi Global Custody Operations, where he served as Head of North America Asset Servicing. Prior to Citi, he held key roles at UBS Wealth Management Financial Services, JP Morgan Chase & Company, Nationwide Insurance – Office of Investments, and Banc One Investment Management.
Christopher holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He also participated in the International Studies Program at Tokai University in Japan, further expanding his global perspective in financial services.
