Break Out The Silver!! BY: Chuck Dudley

The company I have associated with for 19 years just had a significant birthday.

Argent Financial Group turned 25 years old.

Starting as a $50 Million independent trust company, it has grown into one of the South’s most dynamic and successful financial services companies.  Based on recent numbers, Argent is responsible for approximately $11 BILLION in client assets.

The Argent footprint reaches from San Antonio to Oklahoma City…….through Louisiana and Arkansas to Memphis, Nashville, Louisville, Charlotte, Atlanta and into Florida.    Truly a remarkable success story.

How did this happen, you say?

Very simply, hard work from a lot of people, committed management with a vision, and a board of directors guiding the company to new heights.

Lots of things.  Here are a few:

  • Personal wealth management
  • Retirement planning
  • Family office planning services
  • ESOP Management and Trusteeship
  • Personal trust
  • Corporate trust
  • Property and mineral rights management
  • Insurance and executive benefit planning
  • Money management

While these are important duties for us, the most important thing is our relationships.  Relationships with each other inside the company first and foremost.  In my 38 years of work experience, I’ve never been associated with a company that worked together for a common goal as much as Argent has.  It’s a tribute to the people and management that this type of corporate culture has manifested itself.

Of course, when the company has good internal relationships, it will foster the same relationships with our clients that we serve every day.  Responsibility for client assets and client financial futures is our overriding passion.  Simply put, it is our “Why” as the author Simon Sinek writes and speaks about.

My area of concentration is executive benefit planning for small business and banks.

Do you want to Retain, Reward and Retire your key people?  We can help you with that.
