Meet Sarita, who is with Heritage in Oklahoma City and has been with us for 1 year.
Q. What led you to Argent and what makes it unique?
A. Bruce Carson! I worked with him on a mutual client during my time at a local bank. He got me interested in working in the trust world. I met Bruce during a time in my career when I was ready to make a change but didn’t know which way to go. I feel like he was the sign and the answer I needed.
Q. Why do you enjoy working at Argent?
A. I love the fact that we don’t have a typical work environment. We get to work with the clients on a level most are not privileged to. I learn something new every day and never have two days that are alike! My office/space feels as pleasant and peaceful as being in my own home does.
.Q. Describe Argent in three words.
A. Progressive, Nimble, Collaborative
Q. What does the company mean to you?
A. Working here means I have a future with one of the best companies in the industry.
Q. Recount a favorite memory or project .
A. It’s not a memory yet, it’s the current trust I’m working on. I didn’t realize what “Trust Work” would mean/involve until this trust. I’ve been learning a lot but also using the knowledge and skills I’ve acquired through my past work experiences. I’m looking forward to many more interesting projects!
Q. What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever received?
A. “Go for it!” It’s simples but gave me the confidence to take the job that I didn’t think I qualified to do.
Q. How do you define success?
A. This one took me a while to figure out but I think I’ve finally found success at Heritage. My measurement does not come from how much money I’m making or my title. I finally feel successful being at a company that I respect and I truly enjoy the work. I feel like I do make a difference, not just in the immediate future but in the long run. I feel that I’m successful because I’ve never been happier with a job more than I am right now.
Q. If you could have any other job for one day, what would it be?
A. Zoo Keeper
Q. What motivates you?
A. My three sons, I want them to be proud of me. They think I am fun and I don’t ever want to disappoint them.
