Our family will be walking in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Walk to Cure Diabetes on Saturday, October 5th. As you may know, we have a personal connection with Type 1 Diabetes that affects millions of children and adults. Tyler was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes 4 years ago. As you can imagine, this diagnosis of T1D changed our lives forever. While managing day to day through these life changes, we are committed to JDRF. We raise funds to fulfill JDRF’s mission of improving the lives of all people affected by Type 1 Diabetes.
We have formed our walk team to raise money to support the research required to cure, better treat, prevent, and to provide support while managing this disease. We are actively recruiting anyone who would like to join us. You can join our team at http://www2.jdrf.org. If you are unable to walk, please consider making a donation to JDRF by check or by clicking on the link below. We greatly appreciate your consideration and support of this worthy cause.
Saturday, October 5th at Railroad Park
Registration begins at 8:30 and the walk begins at 9 am.
Thanks for your support!
