Whitney Hufnagel joined Heritage Trust as an Investment Analyst in 2013. Some of her analyst responsibilities include trading all securities and working with various bond brokers to buy and sell individual fixed income securities. Additionally, she conducts both quantitative and qualitative research on individual equity securities and is instrumental in conducting mutual fund research.
Mrs. Hufnagel is a member of the Stock Selection Committee and Trust Investment Committee, where she helps determine asset allocation and securities to be used in managing client portfolios. In addition, she is a member of Trust Technology Committee, where she helps identify investment related technology that integrates well with current technology and will further benefit the client experience. She is most passionate about helping make investment decisions that will help client portfolios grow and flourish in order to meet various investment goals.
A graduate of Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Mrs. Hufnagel received her Master of Science in Quantitative Financial Economics in 2012 and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness in 2010.
Mrs. Hufnagel is a CFA Level 2 Candidate after passing Level 1 in June 2014. She previously interned at Heritage Trust Company, Security National Bank through the Oklahoma Banker’s Association Internship Program, and worked as a Student Research Assistant in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Agricultural Economics Department while working towards her undergraduate degree.
She enjoys gardening, reading, working out, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends. In the summer, she can be found poolside with a good book in her hand.
