Frank is the Chief Investment Officer for Argent Trust Company. Frank leads the portfolio management process for Argent Trust in our Nashville and Louisville offices. Leveraging his years of experience in research and asset management, Frank works to identify global growth opportunities for clients and to maintain a proactive and aggressive focus on risk management. Additionally, he takes a lead role in the development of customized solutions on behalf of clients that involve the intersection of complex investment, tax, and wealth transfer issues.
Through his work over the years with high net worth individuals, family offices and foundations, Frank has developed client centric solutions to each client’s specific needs. He has identified the need to provide investors with access to global investment opportunities, greater transparency into the investment process, and independent research – all of which represent the foundations of Argent Trust Company.
Prior to joining Argent Financial, Frank served as Chief Investment Officer of the Memphis based Morgan Keegan Trust Company and of Nashville based Bradford Trust Company. During this time he began to identify and appreciate the need to provide families and their charitable entities with a more holistic approach to asset allocation and investment management. His collaborative approach, which emphasizes risk management and downside protection, has been honed from over 17 years of experience advising clients.
Frank earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Tennessee and an M.B.A. from the Owen School at Vanderbilt University. Frank also earned his Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation and is NASD Series 7 and 66 licensed. He lives in Nashville and is a very active dad to his 3 teenage daughters Margaret, Helen, and Lucy.
